Marigold - Coco Deep Orange Tall

Coco Deep Orange Marigold features tall, sturdy stems, making it ideal for cut flowers. A great alternative to "Giant Orange" variety, it produces abundant, fully double blooms measuring 2 1/2–4 inches. With similar flowering time, rich dark orange color, and quality, it performs equally well in garden beds and for marigold garlands.

Edible Flowers: The vibrant blooms can enhance salads, desserts, or be used in egg and rice dishes. Their flavour is floral with subtle citrus and spice notes, and a slight bitterness. Be sure to remove the petals from the base, as it can taste quite bitter.

Sow: outdoors after the last frost or start indoors 4 - 5 weeks before last frost date.
