Orange Gem marigolds have smaller, more delicate flowers and have multiple stems with fine and lacy foliage. Each plant grows in a bushy shape, branching out. The flowers and lemony fragrance attract pollinators and my deter some pests as well.
Plant amongst your vegetable patch for a cheery pop of colour and lemon scent.
The flowers are edible. Try them in a salad or feed them to your chickens!
Sow: outdoors after the last frost or start indoors 4 - 5 weeks before last frost date.
