Wallflower Seeds – Mixed Colours

~150 Seeds

A cheerful, old-fashioned favourite with a delightfully sweet, clove-like fragrance, these mixed Wallflowers bring warm cottage-garden charm in vivid shades of orange, rose, red and glowing yellow.

Blooming in early to mid-spring when everything else is still waking up, they’re a much-needed burst of colour for borders, pollinator gardens and walkway edges. Bees absolutely adore them.

Technically a biennial, but often treated like an annual for early show, these prolific bloomers are easy to grow and highly rewarding, especially if you like old-world charm with a bit of fiery colour. Plant them where you’ll pass by often — they deserve to be admired up close.

Growing Instructions
Start indoors 8–10 weeks before last frost or direct sow in late summer or fall. Sow lightly in well-draining soil — seeds need light to germinate. Transplant once seedlings have 2–3 true leaves, spacing 6–9 inches apart. Prefers cooler weather and moderate moisture.

Pinch young plants to encourage branching. Deadhead after blooming to extend the show, or leave seed pods to self-sow naturally for future displays. Seeds may benefit from 2–4 weeks cold stratification if sowing in spring.
