Sweet Pea Seeds - Elegance Salmon Rose

~25 Seeds

Elegance Salmon Rose Sweet Pea is an early-blooming, prolific annual vine that fills your garden (or cutting patch) with graceful, coral-salmon rose blossoms on long, elegant stems.

This variety was selected for its ability to flower under cool, shorter-day conditions, making it excellent for early spring sowing or even cool greenhouse production. Its delightfully fragrant flowers add old-fashioned charm to fences, trellises, and cottage borders, and they’re a favourite for fresh bouquets thanks to their long stems and lovely scent. With flowers that attract pollinators like hummingbirds and a steady habit of bloom, Elegance Salmon Rose brings both beauty and fragrance to your outdoor space.

  • Fragrant biennial-habit sweet pea grown as an annual

Growing Instructions

Sweet peas like Elegance Salmon Rose thrive when started cool and given strong support to climb. Sow seeds directly outdoors about 4–5 weeks before your last frost, placing them 1/4–1/2″ deep with light covering and spacing them about 6″ apart. You can also start indoors and transplant once soil is workable. Keep soil rich, moist, and well-drained to encourage robust growth. As vines reach 6–8″ tall, pinch tips to encourage denser branching and more flowering stems. Providing a sturdy trellis, fence, or netting will help plants climb and showcase their blooms. Harvest flowers when about half of the blossoms on a stem have opened to enjoy in arrangements.
