Sowing Instructions
- Indoors: Plant seeds indoors 3–4 weeks before your last frost date.
- Outdoors: Wait until 2 weeks after the last frost date, when soil has warmed to at least 70°F (21°C). Pumpkins are frost-sensitive and need warm soil for healthy growth. Sow seeds directly into the ground in mounds (hills) spaced 3–4 feet (90–120 cm) apart. Plant 2–3 seeds per hill and thin to the strongest plant once seedlings appear.
- Transplant plants 6 feet apart.
- Seed depth: 1 inch (2.5 cm)
- Germination: 5–10 days
