Greater Quaking Ornamental Grass is the largest and tallest variety of quaking grass, featuring 1/2–1 inch seed heads that transition from light green to a beautiful golden straw colour when dried.

The delicate, nodding stems bring sparkle and intricate detail to floral designs. With 12–20 inch long stems, this clump-forming grass is perfect for both fresh and dried arrangements, though its thin stems are best suited for delicate designs rather than sturdy structures. It makes a stunning addition to containers or garden beds and may self-sow if seed heads are left intact.

Drought-tolerant once established, it is also known as big quaking grass, rattlesnake grass, and large quaking grass.

Sowing: indoors 4 - 6 weeks before last frost. Direct seed after last frost and throughout the summer for continuous use.
