Waltham Butternut sets the standard for larger butternut squashes and is the most widely grown, full-size open pollinated butternut.

 

Waltham Butternut's have small seed cavities and thick, straight, cylindrical necks. The flesh is smooth in texture and sweet, particularly after 2 months of storage.

 

All-America Selections winner in 1970 and still very popular.
