Early Fortune is a clean tasting, productive, early harvest cucumber that is perfect for many things, including pickles, slicing and snacking. Known as the best "white spine" heirloom cucumber ever offered, Early Fortune Organic is descended from seeds first bred in Michigan in 1906.

Space: plants 9 inches apart, rows 3 feet apart.

Sow: indoors: 3 - 4 weeks before transplanting out in warm soil : 15-30°C (60-85°F) or start outdoors when soil is warmer 15-30°C (60-85°F) , 3 - 4 seeds in groups, groups 4 feet apart. Plants can grow up to 8 feet long, so trellising is recommended but not mandatory.

Harvest at desired size, give the fruits a quick rub with a towel to remove spines.
