Beet Blend
~175 Seeds
Beet Blend is a colourful mix of orange and purple beet varieties that produces roots in shades of red, gold, and striped, along with nutritious leafy greens that can be harvested young or mature. This blend is perfect for gardeners who want variety in both flavour and appearance without planting multiple separate varieties. Beets are easy to grow and perform well in cool weather, making them an excellent crop for spring and fall gardens. The roots are sweet, earthy, and great for roasting, pickling, juicing, or fresh eating, while the tops can be used like Swiss chard. Succession planting every few weeks will provide a continuous harvest from summer into fall. This blend is ideal for home gardeners who want a reliable, productive, and colourful vegetable for the garden and kitchen.

Growing Instructions
Direct sow outdoors from late spring through mid-summer. Plant seeds about 1 cm deep and keep soil evenly moist until germination. Thin seedlings to allow proper root development, and use thinned plants as baby greens. Beets grow best in loose, fertile soil and consistent moisture will produce the best quality roots. For a continuous harvest, sow small amounts every 2–3 weeks. Harvest roots when they reach the desired size, and use the greens as well.
