Shirley Poppy (Papaver rhoeas 'Shirley') is a delicate and colorful double poppy variety known for its paper-thin petals and vibrant blooms, often seen in shades of shades of pink, white, red, rose, and salmon and have a silky appearance.

Planting Instructions:
- Plant Shirley Poppy seeds outdoors in early spring or late fall, depending on your climate zone. Direct sow outdoors in the fall or 1 - 2 weeks before last frost. Indoors: not recommended. Can be winter sown in milk jugs.
- Sow the seeds just lightly on the surface of well-draining soil, as they require light for germination.
- Press the seeds into the soil gently, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact.
- Space the seeds or seedlings about 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) apart.
- Shirley Poppies usually reach a height of 12 to 24 inches (30-60 cm).
- Seeds typically germinate within 10-20 days.
- The plant will produce its exquisite, papery flowers from late spring to early summer.
