Green Gold Bupleurum

• Germination typically occurs in 10–14 days.  

Growing Instructions
- Indoors:  Start seeds indoors in seed trays filled with moist seed-starting mix. Lightly press the seeds into the surface without covering, as they need light to germinate. Sow seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost date.  

Bupleurum seeds need a cool temperature (between -4 and +4°C or 25 and 39°F) after an initial warm period (18 to 22°C or 64 to 72°F) for successful germination.

Bupleurum seeds typically require a 4 - 6 week cold stratification period before sowing. This involves exposing the seeds to cool, moist conditions, usually in a refrigerator (ziploc bag and moist paper towel), to break dormancy and improve germination rates. 

- Outdoors:  
  Direct sow outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil is workable. Lightly press seeds into the soil but do not cover them, as they require light to germinate.
