Popular as a cut flower or dried flower, the "Forever Happy" version has contrasting light rose-lavender bracts and sunny-yellow flowers (when fresh, not dried).
Only the rose-lavender colour will persist when dried.

Statice is long-lasting for both fresh and dried bouquets. One of the best choices for a dried floral as it holds its colour well and is easy to dry. Also known as wavyleaf sea lavender.

Sowing: indoors Transplant (recommended) - Sow 6 weeks before last frost. Light aids germination; cover just enough to hold seeds in place. Harden off plants and transplant out after danger of frost. Note: Providing temperatures of 60°F (16°C) for 1-2 weeks after the seedlings emerge encourages rooting.

Direct Seeding: is not recommended.
