Dating back to 1913, Table Queen acorn squash are a time-tested heirloom variety cherished for their reliability and exceptional qualities. These squash boast dark green skins and a distinct acorn shape, with fruits averaging a generous 15cm (6") in diameter. Renowned for their outstanding storage ability, Table Queen squash are a staple in any pantry.

Table Queen is rather productive, and will produce up to 8 fruits per vine. The plants themselves grow to a mature height of about 12 to 24 inches tall, and spread 4 feet long. 

The vines of Table Queen squash are vigorous and abundant, ensuring a bountiful harvest even in early growing seasons. Their sweet interior flesh starts as a vibrant yellow and matures to a rich golden orange hue during storage, promising a flavorful culinary experience.

For optimal storage, it's recommended to allow the fruits to fully ripen on the vine and harvest them just before the onset of frost. After harvesting, gently wipe the fruits with a diluted bleach solution to prevent mold and prolong shelf life. Store the squash in a cool, dry place to maintain their freshness and quality for extended periods.
