Kabocha Squash is a smaller drum-shaped winter squash with dark green skin. The fruit has a delicate sweet taste and produces high yields of 2-3 lb fruits which require trellising for support due to their vining growth. Fruits can be stored up to 4 months.
Sow: indoors in peat pots (to not disturb roots), 4 weeks prior to when risk of frost is estimated. Transplant outdoors once frost risk has passed.
